The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion — to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.
- Isaiah 61:1-3 (NIV)
.....
I lost myself for a while and have been quietly working on nursing my heart, soul, mind, and body back to health.
Thankfully, this is even easier to do than in the past due to the absolutely amazing stronghold of love and support I have in my life.
I have spent a good amount of time mulling over song lyrics, quotes, Bible verses, and the words of encouragement spoken to me that make my soul feel airy, light, and carefree. These words soak into my skin and set my heart ablaze with fresh purpose and passion to keep getting out of bed each morning and soldiering on into each day.
One quote in particular that has been on my heart and mind is from one of my favorite anime, My Hero Academia. This quote is spoken by Sir Nighteye, one of the top heroes in the series:
Regrets and failure are an inevitable part of life. What's actually important is what you learn from them...I don't know if it's possible to change the future, but you can change the effect the past has had on you. By interpreting your history, it's possible to modify how you view the present.

I am resuming this post on December 17th, 2020. I fell off from here and Part 1, which I published on October 12th. I made sure this would remain next to Part 1 on the blog, so they stayed connected, even though I'm finishing this post in December.
I am happy to report that I am doing amazingly, and am now on only one of my medications, and feeling better than I ever have in my life.
I have been writing so much about Chase and Avery, and falling more in love with them and my other characters.
Again, if you are here, I am beyond thankful.
It is true that by learning from your history, you can modify your present and even your future.
I have learned from the past 10 years, and now I am moving forward as a new person, doing my best to heal and tell my story.
